As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Controller to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose The Service Controller plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing service operations to ensure optimal efficiency, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity.

This individual is the central point of communication between the service team, customers, and other departments, ensuring that service jobs are scheduled, tracked, and completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch service engineers/technicians for breakdowns,

planned maintenance, and inspections.

Serve as the primary contact for service-related inquiries from customers.

Monitor job progress, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting.

Maintain and update the service management system with job details, time logs, and customer notes.

Liaise with parts, warranty, and technical teams to ensure service jobs are fully supported.

Provide regular updates to customers regarding job status, technician ETA, and any delays.

Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.

Assist in invoicing by reviewing job sheets, hours worked, and materials used.

Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within plant, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
