We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join a leading apprenticeship provider. This role is ideal for a talented professional with a passion for sales, relationship building, and apprenticeships.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing the client base. You will be responsible for developing new client relationships, nurturing existing partnerships, and ensuring an excellent initial experience for all clients.
You will be proactive in engaging with employers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions from our full range of apprenticeship and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively engage with employers to identify their needs and promote relevant training solutions.
Develop new client relationships and enhance existing partnerships.
Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing key accounts and corporate partnerships.
Gather insights on customer needs and contribute to the improvement of product offerings.
Ensure high standards of professionalism and align with the company's values and mission.
Work collaboratively across teams and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the overall Sales & Marketing strategy.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the private training or education sector.
Strong sales skills, including prospecting, closing deals, and account management.
Excellent communication and networking abilities.
The ability to work independently and manage a busy workload effectively.
An understanding of Apprenticeships/Traineeships and ESFA funding methodology.

This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis with a Hybrid working pattern. There will be travel involved in the North West so having your own transport is essential.
