Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented English supply teacher to join a secondary grammar school in Trafford from November 2024 to cover a temporary absence.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role.

The Role

Teacher of English

Five days a week

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and GCSE English

Calm confident behaviour management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

Ability to teach English to A level would also be beneficial

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS Teachers and FE qualified teachers with experience of teaching children aged 11-16.

Excellent facilities for teaching and learning.

Mixed selective grammar school for students aged 11 to 18

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
