Religious Studies Teacher
Location: TraffordContract Dates: 4th November- 20th December (with potential to extend to 2025.)Pay: £150 - £190 per day (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm
An excellent and popular secondary school in Trafford are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education(RE) Teacher to join their team for the Autumn Term with possible extension into 2025. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to teach Religious Studies up to KS4 (GCSE Level) and potentially lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and effective Religious Education (RE) lessons to students from KS3 to KS5.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and maintain high expectations for student behaviour and progress.
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching RE and Humanities up to GCSE at secondary school level, with a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Availability to work full-time from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm, for the duration of the contract.
