I am looking to speak with an ambitious Geo-Environmental Director in Manchester to build and develop a Ground Engineering department within a successful Civil & Structural Consultancy, offering up equity.

With an already established workload coming through the Civil and Structural department, as a new Geo-Environmental Director, you will have work to jump on right away whilst having the time to capitalise on business development with your own network.

The role as a Geo-Environmental Director will suit an entrepreneurial Geo-Environmental Engineer with extensive experience in delivering ground engineering / contaminated land assessments, technical reports, foundation design and value engineering for major foundations and building developments.

Geo-Environmental Director Specification:

  • Chartered Engineer, Geologist or Environmental Scientist.
  • Expert full life-cycle project experience (from ground investigation through to validation).
  • Expert in delivering technical reports surrounding ground investigation, contaminated land, remedial methods, risk assessments, verification etc.
  • Ideally experienced across designing and specifying earthworks, Material management plans and reuse.
  • Proven team leadership, Day-to-day technical direction and leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high level of BD acumen.
  • Ideally detailed design and value engineering experience for large scale building foundations.
