Python / Django Developer – Hybrid / Castleford - £40K-£45K
We are seeking a skilled Python / Django Developer to join an exciting new start-up within safety technology. Their cutting-edge app combines the latest technologies with forward-thinking leadership to create a seamless, user-friendly experience that prioritises safety.
This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies you will focus on the backend development in Django, ensuring their API, database, and authentication systems are optimised for performance, security, and scalability.
The successful Developer will join a small team where you will work alongside their Head of Engineering and Frontend Developer. Technologies:
- Proficiency in Python and Django (or equivalent backend frameworks).
- Strong experience with AWS services.
- Experience with authentication systems, particularly Auth0 and Firebase Authentication.
- Solid understanding of database management, including PostgreSQL and Firestore.
- Expertise in API development (RESTful APIs, Django REST Framework).
- Microservices
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote/hybrid team.

Salary for this role is between £40K - 45K DOE + benefits including training budget, free parking and hyrbid working (3 days from office, 2 from home).
