My client, a global leader in advanced engineering solutions, is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their Design Office team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects aimed at driving the development of high-quality software products and automation solutions for a range of specialized applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications for both desktop and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration with complex machinery.
- Lead the development of software solutions and automation tools, continually enhancing product performance.
- Provide technical support across the business, including occasional on-site customer visits.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to identify cost-effective and high-performance solutions.
- Contribute to product innovation by questioning existing methods and introducing new ideas to drive progress.
Key Experience:
- Degree in a mathematically based discipline, with 6-10 years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience as a full stack developer for cross-platform applications, with expertise in .NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Muuri, and Git.
- Proven track record of delivering projects from the ground up, particularly in control systems and data analysis.
- Full UK driving license, with a willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a small, collaborative team.
This UK-based role offers the opportunity for international travel and the chance to work on innovative projects. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
