Reeson Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join an alternative provision in the WA14 area. This Learning Support Assistant role is a full-time, long-term position supporting young people aged 11 to 16 who experience social and emotional challenges, stress and anxiety, and difficulties in mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities for the Learning Support Assistant:
- Work closely with students in class, providing academic and emotional support.
- Help young people manage their emotions, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.
- Support students with pastoral needs, ensuring they feel secure and supported.
- Build trusting relationships with pupils who struggle in mainstream school settings.
- Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to create a positive and structured environment.
Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:
- Experience working with young people who have social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- A calm, patient, and understanding approach to support.
- Ability to build rapport and act as a trusted adult for students.
- Experience in a Learning Support Assistant or pastoral role is highly desirable.
- Commitment to a full-time, long-term learning support assistant position.
