On site are a range facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, and specialized equipment to support our students' learning and development.


You in the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe learning difficulties. Each student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), outlining their individual needs and goals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students in the classroom
* Assisting with classroom activities and resources
* Supporting students during breaks and lunchtime
* Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans


Essential Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of working within a SEND setting or with SEND students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A compassionate and patient approach
* The ability to work as part of a team


Desirable Skills and Knowledge
While not essential, the following skills and knowledge would be advantageous:
* Makaton or British Sign Language (BSL)
* Autism training
* Therapy training, such as music therapy
