Our client are start up gigabit fast full fibre broadband company who are currently going through an exciting period of growth.
They are currently seeking an experienced Chief Enterprise Architect to join their business.
Working with other functions in the Technology team and wider business, the Chief Enterprise Architect (CEA) is responsible for defining and maintaining the overall Enterprise Architecture within the business.. This will entail setting the architectural and solutions rules across the network technology and OSS/BSS domains and ensuring that the technology function provides a robust, future-proof technical framework that enables ongoing business success and drives enterprise value.
In addition, the CEA will provide guidance and practical support in defining solutions for complex business projects, especially where they impact on multiple systems, departments or technical domains.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Chief Technology and Information Officer, coordinates all technical aspects of the enterprise architecture in collaboration with the IT, OSS/BSS/UX, and Network Technology Solutions Directors.
- Responsible for analysis of key business drivers and articulate (where required) corresponding requirements for each one of these architectures.
- Continually assess the current IT and Enterprise Stack to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement in line with the business strategy and delivery priority for both the ISP and Networks businesses.
- Responsible for providing enterprise solutions that deliver value for money, identifying savings that can be made whilst providing software, IT, and applications for commercial requirements that facilitates sales and marketing efforts.
- Responsible for the design and direction of an appropriate governance structure and activities (such as exception and exemption handling,) ensuring compliance with the enterprise architecture.
- Contributing to the evaluation and selection of software products, applications, systems and standards, as well as the design of standard software systems and application configurations.
- Supports and works collaboratively across the whole business to collaborate on joint initiatives, promoting architectural compatibility and synergies in technical implementations.
- Plays a key part in delivery of large, complex strategic projects, and initiatives that cut across different business areas and brands.
- Working collaboratively with the Project Management Office (PMO), IT, OSS/BSS/UX, and Network Technology teams, in the preparation of solution pricing, documentation and solution design for the wider business need.
- Responsible for proactively identifying innovative Enterprise solutions, which meet business needs and removes obstacles to commercial success.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong, relevant experience, including in coordination, planning and executing Business and Operational Support Systems (OSS/BSS), information, software solutions and application development.
- A proven track record in designing and monitoring varied Enterprise systems, OSS/BSS/UX systems, applications, and delivering solutions to solve business requirements and concerns.
- Strong experience of matrix managing technical teams to design and deliver large, and small scale change programmes.
- Proven track record of proposing and estimating IT, OSS/BSS/UX and wider Enterprise solutions.
- Experience of taking business objectives / requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
- Strong Stakeholder management experience.
- Risk management expertise, including incorporating risk assessment and mitigations into IT, OSS/BSS/UX solutions.Proven track record of costs estimation, including development, test and integration costs.
- Preferably Degree level qualified in Computer Systems/Engineering, Software Design, Software and Data Architecture, or similar disciplines.
- Experience of working in agile environments, continual delivery techniques and DevOps cultures.
- Proven track record of managing IT security, including ISMS principles.
- Worked with private and public cloud environments, VMware and other virtualisation
