Production Shift Manager

As part of continual growth, our client is looking to add a Production Shift Manager to oversee a large operation. In this newly created role, you will be adding your expertise to add structure and ensure quality performance across the whole shift. Being one of the most senior people on shift, you'll need to be comfortable making operational decisions and changes when needed, heavily engaging your team and identify those important training opportunities.


Within this role, you'll have operational responsibility, including having strong people and process knowledge to efficiently develop your team and advise on production changes

This is a good chance for someone to step into essentially a role that can help define a path to a Production Manager role within time.
The client supplies into a number of the major retailers, with high quality standards and extra projects to focus on, this role will offer various challenges and variations to your day to day.


What you will need:

  • Shift leadership experience within the food industry
  • Strong understanding of food safety, COSHH, BRC & food standards
  • A strong understanding of hygiene standards
  • A proven track record of team development and engagement initiatives
  • KPI knowledge of material & labour variance
