The School and Role

This EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school, based in Amble, Northumberland is looking to appoint a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school as part of an established team, the desired SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a small group sized basis with pupils with SEND including Autism, ADHD, communication & visual impairments, cognition needs, and social & emotional difficulties. This full time SEN Teaching Assistant role is long term from January ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.

Requirements

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children in schools.

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND.

-          A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.

-          An ability to work as part of a team.
