The School and Role

This EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school, based in Amble, Northumberland is looking to appoint a passionate SEN Teacher to work in a small provision with three SEN children delivering a bespoke curriculum on a full time basis 8:45-3:30pm. Working in this EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school as part of an established team, the desired SEN Teacher will be working on a small group sized basis with pupils with SEND including Autism, ADHD, communication & visual impairments, cognition needs, and social & emotional difficulties. This full time SEN Teacher role is long term from January ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.

Requirements

The desired SEN Teacher will have;

-          Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children in schools.

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND.

-          A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.

-          An ability to work as part of a team.

-          QTS
