Our reception area is a bustling hub, welcoming a diverse range of internal and external guests, clients, and staff. No two days are the same! You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, courteous, and helpful atmosphere, ensuring the needs of all our visitors are met.

- Experience of providing excellent customer service in a receptionist or similar role
- A positive, approachable and flexible working style (face to face, telephone, and email)
- Numerate, accurate, and willing to develop an understanding of basic business finance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Competent and proficient user of spread sheets, word processing, MS Office and booking websites.
Desirable
- Significant practical experience across 50+ bed private or corporate hotels
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and other relevant legislation e.g., Data Protection Act
- Experience of sales (including up-selling) in a hospitality environment
- Good understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising/sales in a hospitality environment
