Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join an SME business based in Amersham. The Financial Controller will be responsible for internal and external financial reporting, UK tax compliance, treasury, payroll and administration management.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the daily running of the finance function.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting system ensuring the accuracy of the financial ledgers.
- Managing cashflow and regular forecasting
- Managing project costing systems
- Monthly invoices/applications for payment
- Payroll / expenses
- Accounts Payable and Credit Control responsibilities
- Bank accounts management including reconciliations and liaison with Banks
- Reviewing year-end statutory accounts - prepare audit schedules / providing necessary documentation
- Managing taxation affairs - Corporation Tax, VAT, NI, PAYE
- Reporting directly to the Board of Directors
- Provide monthly management accounts to the Board
- Managing 2 administration staff
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA / ACCA Finance professional
- High proficient with Excel
