Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a family-run Main Contractor and Developer based in Buckinghamshire. With a focus on delivering high-quality residential and commercial schemes for various clients, including Private Developers, Local Authorities, and Private Homeowners, they prioritize understanding their clients' needs and exceeding expectations. Whether creating stunning workplaces or zero carbon homes, they bring their clients' ideas to life with care and precision.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pre-Construction Manager. You will be responsible for tasks such as construction estimating, cost management, design management, proposal writing, and budgeting to ensure successful project planning and execution.

Responsibilities of the role will include;

  • Research DPS & Frameworks that would be of appeal
  • Review Barbour ABI for potential opportunities
  • Bring relationships with EA’s, Architects and Public Sector Clients
  • Chair Business Development Bi-Weekly Meetings with Directors present
  • Try and maintain enquiries received and tenders submitted at £15m a month.
  • Manage Estimators, Contracts Manager & Bid Writer for tender processes
  • Oversea marking consultants to put together marketing material as required for mail drops.
  • Build on existing relationships with both public and private sector clients.

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and experience;

  • Construction Estimating, Cost Management, and Budgeting skills
  • Design Management and Proposal Writing experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of building regulations and construction processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
