Role Overview
We're looking for a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Amersham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire students in their love for Drama at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 based on experience. This role involves delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that foster creativity, teamwork, and confidence in students.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching: Deliver Drama lessons at KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 teaching for experienced candidates.
Lesson Planning: Design innovative and exciting lessons that align with the Drama curriculum, encouraging students to explore and perform.
Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students develop their skills and exam readiness.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Performing Arts Department to continually enhance the Drama curriculum, integrating best practices and current creative trends.
School Engagement: Actively participate in department meetings, contribute to the school's initiatives, and support a positive and collaborative school culture.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field. Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 is essential, and experience at KS5 is desirable. You should be passionate about Drama, with the ability to inspire students, encourage creativity, and help them reach their full potential.
