Our client has grown to become a leading global foreign exchange, payment and financial technology provider.

Based in Amersham, they're looking to recruit a KYC Onboarding Manager to join them. The successful candidate will have experience in KYC and leadership/management with an in depth understanding of AML/KYC regulations and compliance practices.

The role is office based 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday and is paying up to £65k plus bonus and benefits. Therefore, you will need to live within a commutable distance to Amersham, Bucks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Associates, providing training, guidance, and motivation to ensure they meet performance targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise the KYC onboarding workflow, achieving and maintaining a 48-hour client onboarding timeframe.
  • Ensure strict adherence to AML/KYC regulations and internal compliance policies, safeguarding the organisation's regulatory integrity.
  • Allocate tasks effectively, monitor team progress, and ensure the timely and high-quality completion of onboarding processes.
  • Act as an escalation point for client queries, ensuring timely and professional resolution of issues.
  • Maintain oversight of client interactions to ensure a seamless and positive onboarding experience.
  • Conduct regular audits of onboarding activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and mitigation of risks.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on team performance, compliance metrics, and process improvements to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions, including leveraging technology where appropriate.

Competencies & Experience

  • 5 years in KYC or Client Onboarding, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in Financial Services or a similar regulated industry is highly advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of AML/KYC regulations and compliance practices.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are preferred.
