Contractor position for Marketing DIVISION

Location: Amersham

Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Salary: 35000 to 38000 per Annum

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Regional Business Support Specialist, required by their client, a leading global manufacturing and engineering company. This role offers full-time work on a temporary basis, working dayshifts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide logistics support, shipping and ordering from asset providers for EMEA marketing events, coordinating closely with the global group events team
  • Manage EMEA and Americas regional marketing budgets with full spend tracking and flag over/under spend risks per financial quarter
  • Provide administrative support for all EMEA and Americas regional marketing managers in the creation and progression of purchase orders
  • Provide administrative support for all EMEA and Americas regional marketing managers in the tracking and receiving of all associated invoices and the linking back to financial reporting systems
  • Work with Finance to ensure spend reporting is correctly assigned on a monthly basis
  • Manage compliance process for all EMEA and Americas regional marketing initiatives across planned activation calendar to ensure on-time delivery for all projects
  • Support high priority and intensive workload specific marketing projects as required

Experience and requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and functions
  • Be highly organised with the ability to track and monitor documentation.
  • Competent with Microsoft Packages especially Excel
  • Experience of electronic purchase order creation and invoice tracking in a compliance lead environment
  • Project and spend tracking
  • Working in a corporate, matrixed, complex organisation supporting the Marketing Team
  • Marketing/customer facing events
