The Role: Manufacturing Engineer

Overall, the role is to support production and improve their processes and procedures. You will be working closely with the wider engineering team to learn what they do, how they do it and coming up with continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating BoMs, SOPs and work instructions.
  • Supporting NPI to make sure layouts are optimised and tooling is correct.
  • Document control.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

The Candidate: Manufacturing Engineer

The ideal candidate will be organised, logical and comfortable using ERP/MRP and different computer systems. They will also have previous experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment, understanding DfM and DfA, with strong knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.
