Become a Ecommerce Web Analyst (GA4 Experience)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Ecommerce Web Analyst with expertise in GA4 to join our Digital team. As an Ecommerce Web Analyst you will be working within the Ecommerce Trading Team to analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for revenue optimisation. Leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights that inform trading decisions, promote best-selling products, and enhance site performance. Proven experience working within an ecommerce trading team, with a strong understanding of trading strategies and on-site customer behaviour is required.

Your Mission

  • Track& Optimise: Leverage GA4 and other analytics tools to monitor keye-commerce metrics and customer journeys providing actionable insightsthat inform trading decisions, promote best-selling products, and improvecustomer journeys.
  • CustomInsights: Create tailored reports, dashboards, and performance metrics forinternal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate& Experiment: Team up with design, development, and marketing to rundata-driven experiments and A/B testing to optimise the user journey.
  • UncoverTrends: Analyse data, visualise insights, and spot opportunities toenhance our digital channels.
  • StayAhead: Keep up with e-commerce trends, best practices, and emergingtechnologies.
  • Report& Improve: Regularly share KPI analysis, highlighting success areasand optimisation opportunities.
  • RoadmapSupport: Work closely on e-commerce and conversion rate optimisationstrategies, backed by Return-on-Investment modelling.
  • GoogleAnalytics 4 Whizz: Dive deep into GA4 setup, integrations, andtracking maintenance. Sharing your GA4 knowledge to boost the team’sself-sufficiency.
  • BusinessImpact: Demonstrate how e-commerce initiatives drive financial andprofitability success.

Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart

  • Provenexperience working within an ecommerce trading team, with a strongunderstanding of trading strategies and on-site consumer behaviour.
  • Demonstratedability to deliver actionable insights that have directly contributed torevenue growth.
  • Detail-orientedand results-driven, with a passion for ecommerce and trading excellence.
  • Experience:At least 2 years in a similar role, specialising in e-commerce analyticsand user behaviour analysis within ecommerce teams
  • GA4Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), includinghands-on experience with event tracking, custom dimensions, and advancedsegmentation.
  • AnalyticalNinja: Strong skills in interpreting complex data sets and turning theminto actionable insights.
  • DataVisualization: Proficiency in tools like Looker, Google Data Studio, orTableau for visualising data.
  • CommunicationSuperpower: Excellent ability to collaborate across teams and explaintechnical concepts to non-technical folks.
  • Toolbox:Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager,Hotjar, and Looker Studio.
  • OfficeWizardry: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint to make datainsights clear, understandable and sparkle.
