Role: Account Manager: Learning and Development Coordinator
Salary: £45k plus bonus
Based: Hybrid & Two Days in Buckinghamshire Office
Contract Type: The role is a temporary role to provide maternity cover for a year
This role is 50% account management & 50% administration. Our client is the UK trade body for companies engaged in vehicle rental, leasing and fleet management.
Our client has a varied training and development programme for members, including traditional classroom-style training courses, instructor-led online training courses, an on-line e-Learning platform for compliance and governance, and a skills accreditation programme for individuals.
Their programmes are internally and externally monitored for quality-assurance purposes. In the role you will support the Head of Learning and Development with the Account Management, Marketing & New Business targets.
You will manage the administration of client portfolios of instructor-led courses by administering training functions in a timely, courteous and cost-efficient manner. You will monitor, complete and review, where appropriate, a learning needs analysis for members and build this into a Sales & Marketing plan.
In the role you will promote awareness and drive sales of the services provided by the Learning & Development department and handle inbox training enquiries ensuring that members’ training needs are identified and met.

Job Responsibilities:
e-Learning:
- Account Manage and drive new business where appropriate
- Analyse trends and metrics on Active Learner Packages
- Maximise growth while focusing on all new sales and upsell opportunities
- Register e-learners
- Invoice new e-licences and renewals
- Monitor any system outages, troubleshoot and report problems to Head of Learning and Development
- Ensure CRM is kept up to date to reflect new licences and renewals on the LMS.
- Manage the e-Learning renewals process.
- Ensuring that users are notified of their upcoming renewals, they are actioned, recorded, invoiced for and report to the Head of Learning & Development.
- Reconcile e-Learning numbers monthly with accounts.
- Compile a report and present a SWOT analysis to the Learning and Development Department.
- Maintain e-learner contacts on CRM, ensuring they are up to date.
- Manage annual Rental Operator Skills examinations under direction from Head of Learning and Development.
Sales and Marketing:
- Review, analyse and report on the Learning & Development sales metrics to monitor progress and meet targets in line with the business plans with the support from the Head of Learning & Development.
- Maintain the training webpages in collaboration with the Learning & Development Specialist eg. course outlines, course descriptions, e-brochures.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns for all aspects of the Learning & Development portfolio
- Monitor delegate sign-ups and success rate.
- Report on all aspects of the marketing campaign in collaboration with the communications team to maximise engagement with our membership.
Training Courses:
- Control and manage the deployment of training with the trainer on the day to ensure learners meet the required code of conduct training standards.
- In collaboration with the Head of Learning & Development write, cost and follow up Driven by You instructor-led training proposals
- Maintain the Training inbox by ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner
- Ensure CRM is kept up to date with delegate attendees for instructor-led training courses.
- Organise and schedule courses with 3rd Party Trainers and accredited training providers
- If course is on-site, organise meeting room, book lunches, prepare room. Coordinate refreshments on day of training for open course delegates and trainer.
- Maintain and update Annual Training Planner for the following 12 months.
- Dispatch training certificates to all delegates attending training events
- Send out joining instructions to delegates at least 2 weeks prior to training date
- Maintain Learning and Development member contacts on CRM, ensuring they are up to date.
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices
- Organise setup of instructor-led online courses using tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
