Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client designs and manufactures a variety of electronic solutions and due to continued growth are now seeking a new Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team in their Amersham office.

The successful Design / Mechanical Engineer will support the design elements of projects and be required to deliver the technically challenging projects on time and to budget.

The candidate will need to be based in and around the Amersham area.

  • Design and develop a range of products, drawings and technically challenging projects in line with company procedures.
  • Support the improvement of current engineering processes.
  • Working closely with customers and suppliers to meet their requirements.
  • Support the building of prototype products.

Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Job Requirements

  • Graduate within a Mechanical Engineering subject or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year post graduate experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD packages - Solidworks.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • IT Literate.
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
  • Hands on person.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required.


Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £28,000 to £30,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications.
  • Monday to Friday - 07:30am to 16:30pm on Monday to Thursday and 07:30am to 12:00pm on Friday.
  • 45-minute lunch break.
  • 20-day holiday package plus the 8 bank holidays. Holiday package can potentially go up, with length of service.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Other company benefits.
