An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and dynamic Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our well-established client in Amersham.

This is an opportunity for someone looking to develop their engineering career. The role will work alongside the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and have access to modern tools and technologies to support professional mechanical design.

ROLE:

  • Operate in a high volume fast paced environment where commitment to the role and attention to detail is paramount.
  • Working on CAD / SolidWorks software for drafting and modelling mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Assist in design and development of mechanical components and systems.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed design specifications.
  • Assembly of work once designed.
  • Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Prepare design concepts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English, with a proficient level of customer service experience.
  • Recognised industry qualification, with previous exposure to the industry.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficient in CAD and SolidWorks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands on experience with a confident approach.
  • Have a flair for component design.
  • Able to work on your own initiative.

Permanent Full Time.

Dynamic & diverse working environment.

8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8:00am - 12:30pm (Friday)

£25,000 - £27,000 (dependent on experience)
