Space Planning Manager
Our client a successful multi-channel and multi partnership retailer based in Buckinghamshire is looking to appoint a Space Planning Manager for a Maternity Cover contract.
The role of the Space Planning Manager will be to optimise the use of store spaces to drive sales growth and profitability across both the owned stores estate as well as for concession partners and franchisees.
Your will create innovative and efficient layouts that maximise space, ensuring that all available floor space is used to its full potential. Reporting to the Head of Merchandising, you will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic space planning solutions that align with our merchandising goals and support overall business objectives.
This role demands a high level of collaboration, as you will be working closely with various departments, including merchandising, operations, and marketing. You will also liaise with external partners and vendors to ensure that our store environments are customer-friendly, visually appealing, and operationally efficient. To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex data, and the capacity to make informed decisions that positively impact the companys performance. Additionally, regular travel to store locations will be required to assess layouts and ensure that space planning strategies are being executed effectively.
Ideal candidates will have a number of years leadership experience in retail store planning or VM across multiple product categories. Proficient in JDA, Intactix and other space planning software. Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
