New Resource Recruitment we are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Salisbury, SP4 on a long-term basis (temp to perm).
Our client specialises in foam packaging products and have a production facility on the outskirts of Salisbury where all products are taken through the production processes.
The working hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
The job includes working with the industrial cutting machinery to cut sheets of foam to size, using the gluing machine, operating and setting up the water jet cutting machine and other production duties which you will be given full training for.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Be able to work independently and within a team
- The ability to work to targets and deadlines whilst ensuring quality
- Follow instructions accurately
- Always work in a safe manner
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Posses good time keeping and organisation skills
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.
The rate of pay is 11.44 per hour, with scope for increase in the future once trained and comfortable with the role.
