Are you a passionate Deputy Home Manager, motivated to make a real difference? Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of an established provider who are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for a residential home near Salisbury. As a Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home. You will be responsible for rota planning, employee recruitment, as well as induction and mandatory training. Your role will also include ensuring the needs of our residents are assessed and met, monitoring employee performance, and addressing any issues through the appropriate channels.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, willing to work towards Level 5.
  • Previous Deputy management experience in an elderly care setting would be preferable.
  • Previous experience with in an elderly/dementia setting.
  • Experience in marketing and finance is also beneficial to help manage occupancy and costs.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of care.
