Boden Group deliver facilities maintenance services, project construction and refurbishment works to the Ministry of Defence and commercial clients at multiple sites in the South West and South East.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver our projects based from Amesbury.

Main Duties:

  • Take full ownership of project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from pre-construction planning through to final handover.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations and procurement strategies.
  • Drive consistent service delivery across all projects, ensuring compliance with construction industry standards.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress.
  • Manage site inspections, coordinating trades, and ensuring build sequencing aligns with project milestones.
  • Monitor and report project performance.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to adapt to changing business, client, or operational needs
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular site audits, RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), and ensure adherence to HSE regulations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and proactively mitigate risks associated with project works.
  • Oversee the production and management of all necessary project documentation, including Operation & Maintenance manuals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including milestones, budget updates, and any significant developments or risks.
  • Monitor and control service agreements in line with client budget expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters.
  • Manage financial applications, ensuring timely and accurate submissions and payments.

Required Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in construction project management, overseeing multiple projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Prince 2, PMP or equivalent Project Management Qualification.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Completed or willing to undertake IOSH Managing Safely, and management development qualifications
  • First Aid at work.

Desirable:

  • Experience with MoD contracts is advantageous.
  • Additional technical qualifications relevant to the role.
  • SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH.
