This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead at a well-established garden centre, driving sales, developing your team, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience. If you're passionate about gardening and retail and thrive in a hands-on leadership role, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the garden centre, ensuring stock levels, merchandising, and customer service standards are consistently high.
  • Leading and inspiring your team to create engaging displays with accurate and informative point-of-sale materials.
  • Managing staffing schedules to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
  • Ensuring plants are well cared for and that your team can confidently advise customers on plant care and product selection.
  • Handling cash management and administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Supporting warehouse and goods-in processes to ensure efficient stock flow.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across the centre.
  • Liaising with Area managers and instructing your department managers and assistant level staff based on the targets and feedback you receive.
