This is an exciting opportunity, with an industry-leading business, to really take your career to the next level. This role would be a superb opportunity for a qualified and experienced AAT or a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA to step into a truly commercial Assistant Accountant position.
This role will see you taking on a number of financial accounting duties as your day-to-day workload, but will focus particularly on the management accounting function. You will assist in the preparation of management accounting packs for presentation to the board, work with P&L and Balance Sheets, prepare budgets and forecasts and assist with monthly accruals, prepayments and journals. You will also assist in the statutory reporting process (VAT returns etc).You will need to be experienced in providing reports and commentary for the purpose of driving financial performance, and you MUST be extremely competent in the area of providing transactional finance support to the wider team.
This is a role that will require initiative and passion; you will also need to be an adept user of MS Excel for the purposes of financial data reporting and manipulation.
