We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Waste Collection Driver to join the team at the Cwmamman Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Class 2 HGV licence who is passionate about ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste and recycling across our local community.

Key Responsibilities:• Driving: Operate and be responsible for an allocated collection vehicle, ensuring daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance are completed as per procedures.• Vehicle Maintenance: Undertake vehicle cleaning and maintenance, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.• Safety: Steer the vehicle safely, adhering to road safety protocols at all times to ensure the safety of the crew and the public.• Crew Supervision: Safely transport and supervise the refuse/recycling crew, providing direct instruction during collection activities and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of each route.

Essential Requirements:• Class 2 HGV Licence with no more than 3 penalty points.• Ability to carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects efficiently.• Experience in operating large vehicles safely and in accordance with all road safety guidelines.• A positive, team-focused attitude, with the ability to lead and supervise a crew during waste and recycling operations.
