The Recruitment Co. is looking for Trimming Operatives to work in the Ammanford area. Our client is looking to expand their Production Team. Working day shifts, weekly pay with attractive holidays / shutdowns.Hours: 40hrs per week, Monday - Friday, 7am-3.15pm with potential for overtime based on demandPay: £11.44ph, rising to £12.21ph from April 2025Temp to perm contract providing you meet the performance and job spec criteria.A fiberglass trimmer is responsible for cutting, shaping, and finishing fiberglass materials. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring and good attention to detail. Skills Required:

  • Fiberglass Handling - Understanding the properties of fiberglass materials and how to cut, trim, and shape them properly.
  • Cutting and Trimming - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools (grinders, saws, sanders) to trim fiberglass components.
  • Blueprint Reading - Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Measuring and Marking - Skilled in taking accurate measurements and marking cutting lines using measuring tapes, rulers, and templates.
  • Surface Finishing - Experience in sanding, buffing, and polishing fiberglass parts to achieve a smooth finish.
