The business is getting significantly busier with Audits and would love to bring in an Audit Manager.
Your new role
An audit manager is responsible for planning and scheduling audits, ensuring that all audit activities are well-organised and timely. They supervise audit teams, providing guidance and support to ensure audits are conducted efficiently.. Review audit workpapers and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards. They also recommend improvements to internal controls, processes, and procedures based on audit findings. Additionally, audit managers provide training and development opportunities for audit staff, monitor follow-up actions to ensure corrective measures are effective, and stay updated on changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified accountant with extensive Audit Experience (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Proven track record in UK statutory audit
