Hoop Nursing & Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team on an agency basis, providing high-quality care and support in care homes across the Ammanford area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Provide support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Offer emotional support to patients and families while communicating effectively.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Help patients with daily activities, such as walking, exercise, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
  • Flexibility to work shifts (regular hours also available)
  • Access to transport
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Manual handling training (desirable, but training can be provided)
  • MUST be registered with Social Care Wales

Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS check will be conducted before employment, and the offer is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.
