I am recruiting a number of CARING and PASSIONATE Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, which is located in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service seeks candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
- Salary: 26,477 - 26,926 (including sleeps) + Plenty of overtime available!
- Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week + 1 sleep per week
- Contract: Permanent
- Shifts: A variety of shifts including optional sleeps and weekends
- Location: Ammanford, Carmarthenshire

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements:
- No experience is required.
- Must be resilient.
- Drivers ESSENTIAL due to location
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
