As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide vital support to the kitchen team, ensuring that all cleaning and basic duties are carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, organized, and in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Wash dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils quickly and effectively.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including peeling and chopping vegetables.
- Safely store kitchen equipment and help maintain organization in the kitchen.
- Manage waste and recycling, ensuring the kitchen area remains clutter-free.
- Assist with the receipt and proper storage of deliveries.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
