Dunbar is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant - Level 1 Qualification minimum for a Bedford Primary School starting in September.

The hours are 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday and will be a temporary role with potential to turn into permanent.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a UK school, have the relevant qualifications and strong knowledge of the curriculum.

The main responsibilites & requirements for this role:

  • Minimum Level 1 Qualification in Primary Education
  • The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Knowledge of how to support teaching and learning effectively and efficiently
  • Knowledge of ways to adapt and personalise learning to cater for the needs of individual children, particularly those with additional needs
  • A range of behaviour management strategies, underpinned by a calm and caring approach.
  • A professional manner with excellent communication skills
