We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Dorset, who are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12 month FTC,
The position is due to start as soon as possible, with travel required to the office 2/3 days a month.

Pay: £36,012
Contract Type: 12 Months FTC
Working Type: Hybrid (2/3 Times per month)
The salary for this role is £36,012 and the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role.
To support the Management Accounts team in providing a professional Financial Service. Including the preparation and monitoring of budgets, processing of accruals, prepayments and other provisions, and the production of monthly accounts.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts to meet agreed deadlines
- Preparing and posting monthly journals and running ad hoc reports as required
- Analysing management accounts with the Management Accountant to produce budget statements for Budget Holders
- Carrying out reconciliations for cost centres and completing balance sheet and control account reconciliations
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and ensuring all cost codes are updated against relevant assets
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing is desirable
- Experience working within a similar role
