What will the Financial Controller role involve?

  • Oversee Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, month-end procedures, and management accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements, complete VAT returns, and manage balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, annual budgets, and support year-end audits with external auditors.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to Directors and ensure best financial practices.
  • Manage Directors’ earnings for tax returns, oversee pension accounts, chair management meetings, and report on key office metrics.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

  • Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communicator with strong business acumen
  • Proactive and adaptable with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to train and support finance staff, while collaborating with the management team.
