Senior Cost Accountant | Manufacturing | North Hampshire | £60,000 - £75,000
Are you a costing expert with a passion for driving efficiency in a manufacturing environment? This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Accountant to join a growing business in North Hampshire, where you’ll play a key role in financial control, cost analysis, and strategic decision-making.
The Role:- Own and develop standard costing models, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Provide detailed cost analysis to support pricing, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Work closely with operations and finance teams to drive cost-saving initiatives
- Monitor variances, including material, labour, and overhead costs, identifying trends and opportunities
- Support month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting with accurate cost data
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards
- Qualified or Part-Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong costing experience
- Manufacturing sector experience is essential
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
- A proactive, problem-solving approach to financial control and cost optimisation
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + benefits
