Accounts Assistant required to join our client, an M&E Contractor located in Andover on a full time, permanent basis. The role of the Accounts Assistant will be to provide support to the accounts team as well as being responsible for the purchase ledger function.

Accounts Assistant Position Overview
  • The processing of purchase invoices and purchase credit notes for all suppliers.
  • The reconciling of supplier statements and accounts.
  • The monthly and weekly payment process.
  • The posting and reconciliation of the company credit card invoices and receipts.
  • Maintain supplier procedure notes.
  • Dealing with supplier and customer queries
  • Answering telephone calls and transferring to the correct department when necessary
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Accounts Assistant Position Requirements
  • 2 years+ experience in a Purchase ledger function
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Safe experience is preferred
  • AAT qualification is desirable
  • Reporting skills, administrative and writing skills.
Accounts Assistant Position Remuneration
  • £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
