Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a forward thinking and dynamic organisation who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join them for a 12 month contract.The responsibilities as the Assistant Accountant will include:
  • Assist with the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Support the preparation of financial reports for budget holders and other stakeholders
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Journal processing
  • Variance analysis
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • External returns and reporting
To be considered for the role of Assistant Accountant:
  • Good ability with MS Office packages including Excel
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to form strong external relationships
