We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable 7.5t Delivery Driver for one of our prestigious client in Andover. If you thrive on the open road and take pride in providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting essential vehicle checks before hitting the road.
- Securing loads safely to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Navigating efficiently to customer sites.
- Assisting customers with unloading goods and ensuring they’re happy with their order.
- Delivering to construction sites and construction business' - including delivering to Central and surrounding London sites. (60% of the work is in and around London )
- Checking that all deliveries are complete and correct.
- Collecting goods from suppliers when needed.
- Keeping in touch with the Manager throughout the day.
- Providing valuable feedback on deliveries, customers, and any order issues.
- Ensuring deliveries and collections run like clockwork.
- Returning all collections to the yard and ensuring they are booked in on time.
- Driving safely and following all health & safety regulations.
- Flexible start time between 0400-0600 and average of 45 hour weeks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- A full UK driving licence (7.5t or above) and have at least one years experience
- Must have digital tachograph card and an up to date CPC
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
- Excellent time management skills—punctuality is key.
- Great communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Physical stamina to handle loading, unloading.
