JOB TITLE:HGV Class 2 Lorry driver with Moffett license

POSITION DETAILS JOB PURPOSE

Supplying the servicing the fit out and construction industry for many years. This Driver Role is responsible for the level of service that we offer through the correct delivering of W products using all the transport delivery systems available to us.

Salary: £40,000 per year, no overtime provision

Hours: Set (tba) 45 hours per week, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Bonus Scheme: Operations accuracy bonus

Pension: Standard Nest pension minimum

Holiday Allowance: on an accrual basis for 25 Days per year plus 8 bank holidays

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Walk round checks on vehicle
  • Securing Load
  • Navigating to customer sites
  • Assisting customer with offload of goods/ Unloading with Moffett Forklift
  • Checking orders are complete and the customer is satisfied
  • Making collections from suppliers
  • Communicating with Manager through the day to keep updated
  • Giving feedback on customer/ location/ order issues
  • Ensuring all deliveries are done on time
  • Ensuring all collections are back in the yard and booked in on time by Goods In
  • Ensuring safe driving and health and safety measures are taken
  • Ensuring end of day procedure is done correctly with a tidy, load-ready truck.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Great communicator
  • HGV Class 2 C Licence
  • Full UK driving licence with up to date CPC Driver Qualifications Cards and Digi/Tach Card. Passion for company and customer satisfaction
  • Previous driving experience
