Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our driving arm of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery a high standard to our clients across Hampshire/Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
Reporting to various clients on a weekly/daily basis at various locations in a timely and safe manner you will be required to travel up to an hour away from the branch with added fuel being offered for anything further. There might be days where you will be required to help out in the office but these are rare.
Additional tickets would be an advantage but we are all about the person and will happily train you on HIAB, ADR, Forklift, MOFFETT etc. for the right attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to transport goods
- Load and unload cargo following proper safety procedures
- Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills:
- Possess a valid commercial driving licence
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Ability to drive and manoeuvre large vehicles safely
- HIAB Crane Licence preferred
- ADR Licence preferred
- Excellent time management
- minimum 12 months commercial driving experience
Pay:
- 35,000 - 38,000 depending on experience
- Overtime offered (client depending)
- Weekend availability
- Night work availability
- We do pay weekly and you rate equates to the above annual salary
