LGV Driver - Street Cleaner
Location: AndoverSalary: £13.28 per hourHours: 07.00am till 15.00pm or 06.00am till 14.00pm Contract: Temporary

Your role
As an LGV Driver - Street Cleaner, you will be responsible for operating mechanical sweepers and carrying out various street cleaning tasks to maintain public spaces. From litter collection and graffiti removal to fly-tip clearance, your work will ensure a cleaner, safer environment for local communities.
Key duties include:
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Operating LGV mechanical sweepers and performing general street cleaning duties
- Maintaining records, including logbooks and defect reports
- Reporting issues to the supervisor as necessary
- Keeping the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean
What we’re looking for
Skills and experience:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to undertake different tasks in various locations
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as waste management or environmental services
- Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements:
- Full UK Class C Licence and Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- Experience driving vehicles up to 26t (preferred)
- Manual handling experience and an understanding of environmental services
- Customer service experience when dealing with the public
