Chef de Partie/Sous Chef

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen, contribute to menu development, and maintain the high standards our patrons have come to expect. This would be a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and cooking
- Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef
- Ensure high standards of food production, presentation, and quality
- Manage and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dishes
- Oversee food safety practices and compliance with hygiene regulations
- Contribute to menu planning and development
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations

Skills:
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Passion for delivering high-quality dishes with attention to detail
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
