We are searching for a proactive Internal Sales Executive to work for an established IT company in the Andover area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts and will work closely with the external sales team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they also receive outstanding service and support. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact in a fast-paced sales environment, where there are great opportunities for future career potential - full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making outbound sales calls to lapsed and prospective clients to discuss their IT plans and requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying upselling opportunities
  • Handle relevant sales enquiries, providing information about products and services and closing sales where appropriate
  • Collaborate with external sales team to support business development initiatives and achieve sales targets
  • Prepare and send quotations, process orders, and manage customer queries
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system, accurately recording all sales activities and customer interactions
  • Stay informed about product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in an internal sales role, where you have made outbound calls
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships over the phone
  • Strong upselling experience with experience of working to targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
