The successful Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will operate remotely in the South of the UK responsible for business development and account management of pump related products with a view to leading a team of technical sales engineers to drive growth and achieve sales targets within pump industry.

The successful Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling, servicing, manufacturing, or managing key accounts within the pump sector Experience selling industrial pump products such as centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, gear pumps, submersible pumps and or similar types of industrial pump / pump units.

Role
  • Responsible for business development and account management of pump related products with a view to leading a team of technical sales engineers to drive growth and achieve sales targets within pump industry.
  • Primary focus on selling industrial pump products such as centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, gear pumps, submersible pumps and similar types of industrial pump / pump units.
  • This role offers clear progression into Sales Director and Director due to current retirement plans.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements
  • Experience as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience selling industrial pump products such as centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, gear pumps, submersible pumps and or similar types of industrial pump / pump units.
  • Someone with experience within the water industry, selling pump products and services is highly desirable.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with an engineering company offering clear progression into Director level within 3 years.
  • A technical Engineering Degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites across the South of the UK.
