Our client based in Hampshire is committed to creating innovative food products, and due to our investment in growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineerto join their Engineering team. If you're passionate about engineering and want to work in a dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you!

The position is a Monday to Friday days, you will be a key figure in the engineering team and must be willing to work as a team. This role is a great opportunity for an engineer who maybe in a multi-skilled role who wants exposure to more project work.

Essential requirements:

  • Project engineering or hands-on operational engineering experience within manufacturing, distribution, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Qualifications such as apprentice trained NVQ lv 3, HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering capital-based activities.
  • Proficiency in CAD or similar, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

The role:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager to build relationships across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading engineering projects across their state of art facility
  • Collaborating with Innovation, NPD, Central and Ops Engineering teams, as well as external suppliers
  • Managing large CAPEX budgets and providing engineering leadership, implementation solutions, and project management expertise.
